Ruth Culbreth Campbell is the daughter of Lucy Culbreth and H.C. Campbell. She was born in Marlboro County, SC. She married George Williams, Sr. She died in Fayetteville, NC.

They had the following children:

1) William Henry Williams (abt 1924) married Elizabeth Maxwell.

2) George Edward Williams (August 3, 1924 - August 30, 1939)

3) John Harold Williams (1927 - April 20, 1958)

4) Rosa Lucille Williams (1930) married Vernon Spruill.
